Here it is. It's one week before Election Day

Here's your last chance to contribute to Flip Virginia Blue in time so that the money arrives soon enough to still get it to candidates in a way they can still use it in the November 5 election occurring one week from today.

That extra last-minute digital ad,
That last-minute TV buy,
That last-minute extra field worker getting that last extra voter out to vote

There are about a dozen Virginia House candidates with races within the margin of error. So your last-minute funds can do some good. Remember Shelly Simonds who lost in 2017 because her race was tied. All she needed was one more vote...

Every dollar sent today will be wired to the Virginia House Democratic Caucus for receipt by them today to go to the most competitive races in the Commonwealth.

Get Out the Vote efforts are underway across Virginia, and Democrats in competitive races still need a little more funds to help fulfill their final campaign pushes.

Republicans have stepped up their nasty attacks in these final days of the campaign and they've got a lot of big money supporting them. According to VPAP, they have more $100,000 more cash on hand than we do.

They want to Suppress the Vote. 
We want to Get Out the Vote.

Why vote in "uncontested" races like mine?

Does your vote matter
when there's only one candidate on the ballot?

YES.

Why?
 

Because every ballot has a write-in line. And we still need a majority of votes to win. Republicans in my district have asked Republicans to use that write-in line to vote me out of office! The only way this unorthodox strategy could possibly prevail is if you don't show up to vote.

 

So please show up! It only takes about five minutes. You can vote any time this week through Saturday or, of course, on Election Day, Tuesday November 5.
