Expanding Broadband Internet in Rural Virginia (HJ 700)
Legislative Action Summary
In my discussions with constituents, you have frequently expressed a desire to reach out and help rural Virginia, which has not seen the same levels of growth as the 45th district. To that end, I have proposed both a study and a budget amendment with the goal of expanding Virginians' access to broadband internet. Internet access is a crucial driver of economic productivity. The study was not given a hearing, but the budget amendment hearing is below.
